First Christmas Cards of the Year

It's been almost a year since I last posted. I have been very busy with my daughter and my new litte man, Blaine.  I have created two new cards using La-La-Land Crafts Marci with Snowman stamp. The papers I used on my two cards are from Imaginisce Polar Expressions line.  I had so much fun creating each card with these papers and the beautiful stamp.
Here is my first card and the second will be posted tomorrow.

Friendship Bubbling Tilda Card

Yesterday I posted the first card created by me during the day of challenges with my mother.  Today I am posting the card created from our second challenge. I thought the papers used for the card were fun and I have been wanting to design a card that used orange since I often use blue or pink. The card contains Bubbling Tilda from the Fairy Tale Collection (2010) and I also, for the first time, used DooHickey's Cutting Die-Tilda Lace from the Wedding Collection.  I hope you enjoy the card!

Copics I used to color Tilda:
skin: YR000, E000, E21
hair: E55, E57, E59
dress: YR12, YR14, 0
wings: BV00, YR12, 0, smooch illuminate
bubbles: RV00, smooch illuminate, glossy accents

Magnolia-Happy Holiday

Today my mother and I each created two cards.  We had such a great time together and made our card making into a little competition.  The person who chose the most creative card was my father, so of course my mother was the winner of today's challenge. :) My first card contains Tilda with Christmas Coat from Magnolia's Merry Little Christmas collections (2010).  I colored her using copics and stickels were used on the snowflakes (EK and Martha Stewart punches) and parts of the card stock. Behind Tilda is an embossed white card stock that I used the copic air brush system to get a little blue color to the background. This was the first time I used the air brush and I loved the way it turned out. Enjoy!

What I used to color Tilda
skin: YR0000, E000, E21
hair: E33, E35, E37
coat: R81, R83, R85, G20, G21, pearl smooch
boots and lace: B41, B20
package: E41, G20, pearl smooch

Magnolia-Licious Pink and Yellow Challenge

This is my first post to my blog.  I love to make cards and especially love to use the Magnolia stamps.  I used Tilda with bunny slippers, Debbie Mumm paper, EK lattice punch, and I made the flower using two sizes of EK flower punches. I hope you enjoy the card.
